Fees and GDPR

Each session is £100 and is paid in blocks of 4. Concession rates are available to those on benefits or under incredible financial strain.
Please note that it is note just the session that you pay for. It includes all the planning and preparation into the session as well the administrative time.

As you are aware from 25th of May 2018 the GDPR guidelines come into effect. I am registered with ICO (Information Commissioner's Office)

What does this mean for me?

All information is confidential, however in the initial session I take the following details from yourself: Address name, DOB, telephone number, email address, doctor details, and brief description of the current issue. The reason the following is taken is to ensure that I can contact you should there be a need. However, in some cases your information with your consent may need to be sent to the GP in order for you to undergo a blood test and eliminate any medical components. Equally should there be any reason for a third part to access your information nothing will be done without your consent.

How is my information stored?

All your information and notes are securely stored on my laptop which is password protected, I am the only one who has access to my laptop. Equally should you contact me via text or telephone, it is password protected and no numbers or names are stored on the phone.

What notes are kept on myself?

My notes are very brief and do not have any identifiable information on it. The notes are taken should I need to refer to the work that we are doing and make sure that I am providing you with the best service. Equally should there be a compliant, the notes are way of providing evidence of the work that we have been doing.

How long is my data stored for?
Data is typically stored for seven years from the date you complete therapy. This allows time for any complaints that are made and for any information that you require after your process.

What happens after the seven period.
Data is destroyed, however some information is kept. Again, this is done should there be an urgent reason for them. The data that will kept, is your name and the year you attended.

What happens if there is breach in the above?
The ICO will be contacted immediately and yourself.

Thank you for taking the time to read through this, it will all be explained again in the initial assessment and in the contract.
